When Vision personnel performed the initial site visit on this 5700 SF fire damaged home in Bethesda the outlook of salvaging the shell looked bleak.  Over 80% of the 57 windows in the home had been broken out by the fire department and the inside was ravaged by fire, smoke, and water.  Although the home was sited on a beautiful street in a sought after neighborhood in Bethesda, local builders shyed away from this property because they considered it a complete tear down and they couldn't make the numbers work in a declining real estate market..  Our structural evaluation revealed the shell of the main home to be sound but the task of remediating the smoke, fire and water damage remained.  Vision sharpened our pencils, developed a phased renovation strategy to put this home back on the market and took on this project in July of 2008.  By early 2009 (6 1/2 months ad $250,000 later) Vision had tranformed this home back to it's former glory.  Vision principals liked the outcome of the project so much that they bought it to live in!
